Once you have completed your CBTA restricted assessment, you can then complete your CBTA full assessment.

Fast track your full motorbike licence

You must have your restricted licence or completed your CBTA restricted motorbike assessment.

You can complete your CBTA full motorbike assessment straight after you successfully completed your CBTA restricted motorbike assessment. Once you have completed your CBTA full motorbike assessment you must have held your CBTA full motorbike assessment certificate for 12 months - from the date that you processed your CBTA restricted motorbike assessment or from the time you passed your restricted licence.

How long does it take to process?

For example Jo passed his CBTA restricted assessment on the 3rd of May 2014. He processed his CBTA restricted certificate on the 6th of May 2014, and came back on the 10th of May 2014 to complete his CBTA full motorbike assessment. He has to hold his CBTA full motorbike assessment certificate until the 6th of May 2015. On this day he can process his CBTA full motorbike assessment and will then have his full motorbike licence.

What's involved in the CBTA full motorbike assessment? 

The CBTA full motorbike assessment is a 1hr on road assessment. We will follow you on our bike and communicate with you using Bluetooth communication. You will be assessed on your position, observations, cornering high speed, road rules, signals, blind spots, control of your motorbike.
